Emmanuel Bernet, Ph.D., is an educator and researcher whose career began in Quebec as a primary school teacher and evolved through doctoral work in educational sciences. His academic focus has centred on motivation, pedagogical innovation, relational climate, and student wellbeing, which naturally led to his interest in embodied and emotional dimensions of human development.

He completed his initial training in Bioenergetic Analysis between 2005 and 2010 at the Société Québécoise d’Analyse Bioénergétique (SOQAB), formerly affiliated with the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis (IIBA). After relocating to Asia, he resumed his certification process from Singapore under the supervision of Guy Tonella through the Collège Français d’Analyse Bioénergétique (CFAB), where he continues his supervised professional development.

His engagement to complete his certification in Bioenergetic Analysis complements his recent diploma in psychotherapy from The School of Positive Psychology in Singapore and his recognition as a Full Member of the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) and the International Council of Integrative Psychotherapists (ICIP). Together, these academic and professional affiliations support his broader reflective work on relational and embodied perspectives within educational and developmental contexts. This ongoing pathway represents a continuation of his long‑standing commitment to understanding integrative approaches to human experience.

In accordance with ethical and institutional expectations, Emmanuel maintains strict professional boundaries and does not engage in psychotherapeutic interaction with students, parents, staff, or any individual directly or indirectly connected to the International French School (Singapore), where he is employed full‑time as a primary school teacher.
